Visa applications can be submitted in person or through an agent. All applications are made on the official standard application form with personal signature of the applicant by appointment only, and after paying the visa fee. Failure to do so may result in denial of entry.
Documents are submitted for a visa at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Almaty. Under the new rules of the Consulate, if you have had 2 Schengen visas in the past 2 years or 1 visa, issued at the Consulate of the Netherlands in Almaty in the last 2 years, the documents can be filed by attorney without the personal presence. Documents are accepted carried out by appointment.

Documents accepted: Mon, Fri from 09.30 to 12.00.
Documents issued: from 14.00 to 15.00
Processing time: 3 work-days.
Foreigners with a residence permit or the registration of more than 6 months shall face further approval within 10-14 days.
The cost of visa (payment in tenge): the visa fee - 60 euros, services of GLOBAL AIR - AMERICAN EXPRESS - 5000 tenge. In case of refusal or revocation of a visa application fee and payment for the services of the agency shall not be refunded.
The size of the consular fee may vary at the discretion of the embassy.
