Almaty - Tashkent Departure from Almaty (flight НУ 764) at 22:40. Arrival to Tashkent at 23:20, Meeting at the airport, transfer to hotel, check-in, overnight at hotel |
The 2nd day Saturday |
Tashkent - Samarkand - Tashkent (transfer by ”Shark” train) Transfer to the railway station at 07:00 hrs, departure to Samarkand at 08.25 hrs. Arrival to Samarkand at 14: 45 hrs. Excursion program in Samarkand includes: Registan square is one of the most outstanding examples of urban art in Central Asia from the 17th century, by which you can "turn the pages" of many epochs of Samarkand history. It consists of three madrasahs: of Ulugbek (1417-1420), Sher Dor (1619-1636) and Tillya Kari (1647-1660). The Guri Emir mausoleum is a place of Tamerlane's tomb (14-15th cc) and place where Amir Temur, his sons and grandsons were buried. Lunch at the “Samarkand” national restaurant. Excursion to the Prophet Daniel mausoleum, who is revered by three world religions simultaneously. He is one of the four great Jewish prophets, whose Book was included in the old Testament of the Bible. The legend says that Tamerlan brought part of Daniel remains to Samarkand, namely his hand. The Shakhi-Zinda Architectural complex (11-15 centuries) is the burial place of Royal persons and nobles. The main mausoleum, where necropolis starts, is considered from imaginary grave of the cousin of the prophet Muhammad - Kusama Ibn Abbas. He is so-called "Shahi Zinda" which in Persian means "the Living King". Overnight at hotel. |
The 3rd day Sunday |
Samarkand Breakfast in hotel. You will visit the largest bazaar in Samarkand "Siab", free time to buy souvenirs and eastern sweets in the morning. Excursion to the Bibi Khanum Mosque the biggest in Central Asia and one of the largest in the Muslim world. Anyone who enters in the city directs his gaze on this structure: "Enormous, majestic, silent!...". Lunch at the “Platan” national restaurant. The visit to the Ulughbeg Madrasah & Observatory (15th century). Proceedings of Ulugbek were created thanks to a unique Observatory that he built in Samarkand. The main stationary construction was a giant quadrant placed inside a cylindrical building with a diameter of 48 m (the remains of the Foundation, or rather the trenches from it, were found during archaeological research). The 4th day Monday |
Samarkand – Tashkent (transfer by "Shark" train) Breakfast in hotel. At 10.00 transfer to the railway station and departure to Tashkent, arrival to Tashkent at 14: 45 Lunch at the “Sim-Sim” restaurant. Tour of the old town: Visit of the Khasti Imam complex which consists of the Barak-Khan Madrasah, the Tilla-Sheikh mosque - the repository of the famous Osman Koran and gold hair of prophet Muhammad; the Khoja Akhrar Vali Juma-mosque, the State Museum of applied arts of Uzbekistan, the Kukeldash madrassah, the Abulkasym Madrassah. Free time to buy Souvenirs on CHORSU Bazaar. Overnight at hotel |

Tashkent – Almaty Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Tashkent airport at 09:00 hrs, departure to Almaty (flight НУ 761) at 10:20 hrs. |
