The applicant for a visa shall have a passport, issued not earlier than 10 years ago and still valid for at least 3 months after departure from Austria.
Visa applications can only be filed in person. All statements are made on the official standard application form. The application form shall be signed personally. Failure to do so may result in denial of entry.
Persons traveling to Austria, submit documents in person at the Austrian Embassy in Astana, by appointment by phone (paid service, credit card): Tel: +7 727 237 9787. Besides, the documents can be submitted by appointment to the Consulate General of Hungary in Almaty, tel. +7 (727) 2551602. Residents of the following regions only may submit documents to the Embassy of Hungary: Almaty, Almaty region, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan regions. Consular fees are paid prior to the consideration of visa application, the applications are accepted for consideration only after payment. In case of refusal or revocation of a visa, application fee and payment for Services shall not be refunded.

Certificate of employment indicating position, salary and length of service with the translation into German
Business trip order with translation into German
Confirmation of reservation in the hotel
Number of electronic invitations issued by the Migration Police in Austria
Health insurance policy valid for the entire stay with a minimum cover of EUR 30 000
Confirmation of round-trip tickets
Statement from the bank on the availability of funds on the card account in English
Original + copy of house register or address reference (for foreigners and a copy of the original tenancy agreement)
Travel visa:
Application filled in Latin letters and signed personally by the applicant.

Certificate of employment with the translation into German

Invitation from a hotel in the original copy or the original of the tourist voucher from the agency from Austria with proof of payment of the hotel reservation. Copies of the documents shall not be accepted.
Repurchased round trip tickets original + copy
Proof of sufficient funds (eg. bank statements, confirmation from the bank, etc.). Cash is not included.
Statement of Commitment from the Austrian partner travel agencies in case of the trips organized by the Kazakh travel agency.
For minors traveling alone: a notarized statement of consent from a parent / guardian.
Original + copy of house register or address reference (for foreigners: a copy of tenancy agreement)
