Applicant for a visa to China shall have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the expiry of the visa.
Visa applications can be submitted in person or through an agent. All applications are made on the official standard application form with personal signature of the applicant by appointment only, and after paying the consular fee. Failure to do so may result in denial of entry.
In Shanghai, the New Year celebration lasts from February 05 to 15, and in connection with this the border closes from 09.02.
In Macau entry from the territory of China is visa-free. Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan can stay by official passports without a visa in the country up to 30 days, but in Hong Kong visa is required even in the presence of official passports.

2 photos
certificate of employment (for a multiple entry visa).
a copy of TIN
copy of identity card
the original permit (for foreigners)
for children you shall also attach a copy of the birth certificate.

Since July 18, 2011 Consular Department of the Embassy of Peoples Republic of China introduced new terms for visa: 7 days.
Cost: single-entry visa to China for 1 month (valid for 3 months visa.) - 13000 tenge; multiple-entry visa for 1 year - 21500 tenge. Multiple-entry visa for a year can be obtained if you have previously had short-term visa.
In case of refusal or revocation of a visa, application fee and payment for Services of GLOBAL AIR - AMERICAN EXPRESS shall not be refunded
